Searching is by far the easiest way to find a location. You can always find the search box at the top right of every page. Be specific when starting, and then broaden your search as needed.
From the Browse by State page, you can browse around the site to find a location in a specific place or category. The structure flows down from State, to city, to main category, to subcategory, which then lists specific locations and businesses. If you can not find a location by browsing, try searching for it using the search box in the top right.
Adding a business, location, or category
You can add missing businesses or places, and categories. Check out the Add a Location page to see how.
Deleting a Business
Check out our Policy Page to see what's OK to delete, and how.
Editing a Page
Click the big "Edit" button in the right corner of any business page. If you don't see the blue edit button, it may mean that the page is not allowed to be changed. All State and City pages are blocked from editing, but you can add categories to cities and main categories.
Wikiocity is powered by the Mediawiki engine, and is fully customizable. We encourage those familiar with the engine to break out of the standard templates used on location pages, and fix them up however you see fit. We only ask that you use some of the required code found in the link below to maintain structure for the site.
